How can I get software updates for my BDHP21U Sharp Aquos Blu-Ray?
It will be the new play Blue Ray DVD - read, but then hangs. You can not even drive or turn off. I had to unplug and restart before they even expel. She still plays old blue ray and regular DVDs.

Be sure to check your player model number. They say that the firmware for these models: BDHP22U/BDHP210U, and said his model was BDHP21U (missed a zero?). According to page 45 of manual for BD-HP22U, put a copy of the zip file you downloaded to a USB drive and insert the unit into the USB port of the player: http://www.sharpusa.com/ ~ / media/B97CF61398E1402F8186798AEF41772B.ashx.
