problem with my JBL speakers.?
i can have a Sony receiver I have a Sony hitp more expensive and I have an old pair of JBL bookshelf speakers 2500 that sounded very good to my old receiver and had a Nice full sound without a subwoofer. jbls now have the great highs and good midrange, but low-end now I could think it would have a fuller sound I do not know why it was not going to lower down the road I have a K675P receiver sonySTR speakers that came with my stereo and jbls are 6ohm 8ohm is this make a difference and what can I do to get a fuller sound.
This will make a difference, because the number of 6 ohms is the power of power actually less than 8 ohms for your JBLs are drawing less power from your receiver. Another item to consider is that the range of some Sony receivers are not full. In other words, instead of executing the power of full bandwidth (ie, 20 Hz - 20,000 Hz), is more like 40Hz-20, 000Hz and this will affect that of the bass performance in a speaker that can reproduce the low notes below 40Hz. I suggest you upgrade your receiver to an average level Onkyo or Yamaha receiver and invest in the quality of some speaker cables and interconnects and you should be back in business, perhaps even better than ever.
