When a manufacturer of labeling or description of their televisions and / or monitors you will notice that the term "class" always follows the diagonal screen size of a screen. This is the way in which manufacturers consumer electronics "to say that the size specified diagonal of the screen is divided into a classification or approximate size" class. "Thus, a screen that measures 31.5 or 31 inches diagonally, for example, could be labeled a 32-inch screen class.
