What causes night 9 pm, ringing in my speaker?
OK, I know this sounds crazy, but this is what happens. I have a surround sound system with cable connection "surround" speakers (ie not wireless). These are the speakers behind the listener. It's a Sony AV STR-K700 model. Every night, even if the system is off, the left surround speaker (These speakers are flush with the ceiling) gives rise to a very brief (<1 seconds), a high beep, very sharp at about 9 pm. Not exactly in the same time each night, perhaps up to 5 minutes before 9, but no later than nine. This is not a problem, but is a phenomenon that can not explain. Any indication of what could be the cause? I thought it might be the cell phone, because two nights ago, we ensure that went out and did not hear the beep. But last night with all the cells off a minute before 9 pm we heard the signal. I have Direct TV and DTV box sits right on top of the AV system. Maybe that's it?
Is your cell phone on and near the speakers? You might Hearing your cell phone in reporting to the network. Try shutting down one night and see if the sound goes away.
