What direction should meet the 5.1 surround sound speakers DD?
I am creating the home theater system in my new place, is slightly larger than'm not going with the more established classical thx. I want the best possible build, I found this diagram that are likely to http://www.audioholics.com/images/img1.jpg So my question, the front left and right front speakers only go forward or leans toward me, sitting on the couch? Not in the photo .. I mean how should it be? One thing to note if I had my left and right Speakes would go in the corners ... and if I had to draw a straight line from each of the speakers in the line passing through my couch for about 1 meter and a half in each hand. Any help is much appreciated also my means of speakers above or below my tv. The TV is mounted on the wall, and the top of the tower speaker is about 3 inches lower than the top of the TV One more thing, is wrong to put the main speakers left and right corners of the room to start?
A little trailer from the front speakers contributes to improved sound imaging and audio. So it is better to turn slightly toward yourself. In fact, they were not about to make a triangle with you on your sofa as one of the ends. Save ajar. Try keep them away from the walls (if they are not intended to be placed near the walls). Keep the distances of the side walls and back walls so that they are similar for both front and outer rear speakers and the distances are not equal to each other or are multiples of each other. center channel should be less to the screen. I saved mine, so On the point slightly toward the couch. I disagree with the sub-woofer in the placement of your image and should be experienced. Subwoofer should be placed in front if its cross-over frequency for Sub has established more than 80Hz. If something is 80 or less, then you should place the sub where there is the frequency response narrower and lower. This can be found by experimentation. For more information on finding the answers to my other responses related to sub placement. Another important thing to consider is your acostics room. Since it is a large room, you get a good low frequency response. You could have problems with echoes in large rooms and well try to put carpets and curtains that are necessary to combat these. If you can spend more, invest in tubetraps ASC and control of standing waves as well.
