I have an HDTV Flatscreeen with integrated digital works perfect on my xbox then connects to my HD TV via cables to the pr pb etc. and works perfect ... I just bought a house Theartre Philips system connected up as Manuel says, and when playing a DVD that looks awsome. but cannot get my TV / Xbox through the surround speakers. I have an HDMI cable going from my DVD / Theartre home system on my TV. speakers are all connected as DVD works perfect. Then someone said red and white wires connect the TV to the DVD / Theart boot system. done this and still can not get work for Xbox, but then I tried the TV and I was watching a Freeview channel and sound coming through the TV as normal activated ITV1 surround sound, and began to play through surround sound. the type of curries says all he needed was to take HDMI and all who work but do not please help .... Have I connected wrong? I know I have an optical connection in the home theater system but I just want the sound?

because the system has no cimema optiacl input then you'll get the best of television and the Xbox is only 2.1 (basicailly working the front speakers). Yes, red and white RCA Fron TV on the phono input of your system is the best we have cimema. wg
