I bought this Pointy Aquos LC42D65U 42 "1080p LCD HDTV 2 weeks before Yuletide, with a VERY strict budget. By design (cash from my wife) that I am employed in the AV industry (commercial and installation) and beat me, to work with things, that was far from my budget. I have worked with the version of 52 "before and actually looked good. The image of the Pointy Aquos LC42D65U 42 "is very strong. Buy LCD HDTV
Tickets are absolutely adequate. Even including RS232 and USB port for firmware upgrades. HDMI is the Wazoo. All entries are located in highly accessible locations. Includes buttons control of television on the right side of the frame. The "picture frame" bezel, rocks! I hate watching a brilliant bezel huge, distracting, which is common Panals plane. This is thin, hard lines. Very professional looking. Why not find a big TV to match the picture quality on it?

However, often anxious than most other Aquos models are 120Hz. Blu-Ray and games, were a worry in my final call on what to buy. The standard for Blu-Ray is 1080p/24Hz. Its all covered! Update Frequency Killer! Great performance! Especially when used with an AQUOS Blu-ray. Oh yes I mixture appears not only works together (through Aquos Link "), but is also one of the $ 975.00 less expensive 1080p Blu-Ray $ 200.00 combined. I got what I wanted without having to "fix". The absence of the fifth star in my opinion, it was for sound. Kinda stinks. Although not as bad I would not recommend this to anyone. Most of all speakers flat panel pong. I love this TV Aquos LC42D65U Pointy though. I support anyone Wold.
