Home Theater HDMI cabling?
I am running HDMI from the receiver to the HDTV. I am planning to use a 35 '- 22AWG cable HDMI (silver wire) from the receiver to a single port wall plate. Then connect to the TV with a 6 - 24AWG HDMI 1.3a cable. Is my wiring heavy enough to avoid excessive loss? My image and the refresh rate is affected?
Steve - My only suggestion is to remove the wall plate and only executes an HDMI cable from receiver to TV. The only difference is the wall plate will have a hole big enough to pass the cable through. will most of its loss and problems with connectors - with a wall plate, you add unnecessary connectors to an already very long run for HDMI.
