Do you have a digital cable picture look bad on a 1080p LCD HDTV?
A co-worker is selling his 40 "1080p LCD HDTV for a TV larger. I want to buy, but I only have cable because its included in the rent. But I do not see much TV (except for some sports), I an HDTV mostly for games and movies. I worry that the cable are so bad that not being able to see any sport on TV etc..
Not too bad. I have a 1080 and still very watchable for sports and everything else in the normal cable. When the TV I get to mess around with the settings and adjust to what is best to you so you can get the best possible image. Regular 480i (cable TV) is not very different in an LCD television makes a tube .. However, investing if you have a cable company that supports high definition cable boxes and cable with high definition, could be useful if you decide you want to see a little more television. Sports are broadcast in high definition with a lot of cable companies now and it's impressive to see. Something to think about ... Good luck and enjoy it if you get it:)
