Any HDTV is compatible with BluRay. His just that some are offered optimal playback and some not. To get the full experience BluRay want a big (40 "+) that is HDTV 1080p. But that does not mean joint Smaller still do not have great experience in high definition viewing with BluRay discs. It just means that this is not the full potential of the format. The TV is what's known as HDTV 720p. It will be great with any BluRay player (PS3 or set top player). You should get some great vision of the film with a BluRay player.
