How to mount your LCD or plasma on the wall? If so, have any advice to hide the AV cables, etc. ..?
I need design ideas these things Im going for a clean look, but we also want to install the home theater system and Hok my ps3 AA, etc. .. How can I hide the wires? I was thinking about doing a lil hole and running wires through the wall and have my HTS and PS3 in the hall lil behind it but im thinking since the secon i wouldnt be able to control from the comfort of my seat because of that thing infrared
One inexpensive way to "hide" the cable is making a small hole in the wall behind flat screen and run through the wires until another hole in the wall behind that an A / V cabinet or whatever you are using to hold all the components, such as your PS3 and home theater equipment. Then you can buy plates for screwing over the holes to make the package look better wiring. Also you can buy plates with connectors such as A / V connectors, RF connectors, etc. .. The possibilities are endless for this type. Niles Audio makes a lot of custom install products. Moreover, if you have a Lowes near you the lead a lot of those things. Good luck to you!
