How I can get Mitsubishi to respond to the problem?
Bought a 65 "TV about 5 months ago. Mitsubishi sent two persons authorized different repair my house, both identified the problem as a speaker hum. Mitsu assistive technology has a solution. Customer service tells me to Mitsu I could buy a home theater system. This has been going on for over two months and still not Mitsubishi will repair or replace. I like the TV otherwise. I do not think I would have to pay more for speakers that do not hum at low to mid volumes. They are very difficult to treat.
If I were you dude ... I would be mad! What does the purchase of a home theater has to do with fixing a faulty TV? It was supposed to spend hundreds of dollars on something unrelated with the TV, just so they do not have to fix it? That's bull man! Go behind them ... go after them like no tomorrow! There should be no reason why can not get the speakers replaced ... especially if you have a factory warranty! The problem with the service custormer most people is that they are told is that customers in the hope that will get frustrated and give up! And the sad thing is, it works! In fact, just completed work to save enough money to spend on them in a sweet bonus! If I were you, I would keep calling until you get a satisfactory response from them! If not, tell them you're going to the Office of Best Business Practices! That's going to draw your attention quickly!
