Does anyone know where to find material accoustically transparent projection screen? (the cheaper the better)?

I'm making a conventional display of a project. Someone told me recently that movie screens are perforated for sound, but when they stand behind them while are being projected, you can see to the other side. Similar to the illusion of advertising stickers on streetcars, where outside, seem to be completely covers, but inside they still look out, with hardly any distortion. If the movie screen is actually transparent material on the back, when projected on what is the best (and cheapest) way to find this stuff?

Acoustically transparent (no suitable material for a screen will Sound all to happen), no ... acoustically translucent and suitable for HD movie screens ... sure. See link. But ... I'm not sure what he wants. Acoustically translucent screens that are used for the speakers can be mounted behind the screen. To function as a screen that can not be optically transparent (To be reflect light back). Moreover, there are translucent screens for rear projection (the projector is behind the screen, in connection with the viewer). But if the optic and acoustic screen is translucent and are used for front (reflection) projection you will see the speakers and get very little reflected light. said all this, Phifer - the company that makes the material for Seymour AV - do a range of sun protection material in a wide range of degrees of transluscency. Material screen (5%) is only one of the choices they make ... so maybe a sunscreen material (instead of the screen material) work best for you. Hope this helps.
