Does your player Blu-ray discs take a long time to "start"?
Does your player Blu-ray discs take a long time to "boot"? My Sony BDP-S300 takes several minutes to get ready to play a disc. Your doing the same, or is mine in a blink?
there is nothing wrong with the player. older models, more than 4-6 months, has a slow processor. that's why it takes some time to boot. new models that will have a faster processor, but will still start up time. the player is loading the disk into the drive of the machine. This allows the user quickly once it is done loading, access to all features on the disc. Unfortunately, Blu-ray will only last a few more years. the industry has realized that people just do not want to repurchase the movies we already have on DVD. dvd not look and sound as good as Blu-Ray? Absolutely no, but for the price of participating in new equipment and BR discs, DVDs are so good. Enjoy your Blu-ray and be patient. I remember when I had to wait to 28.8 dial-up? lol
