How much power PA speakers need for a capacity of 800 concert in a warehouse? 6KW?
I know that my use of terminology may be completely wrong, but for a 700-800 capacity concert in a large warehouse, with vaulted ceilings (if that makes a difference), making the power of the PA settings need to be round? Thanks for all the answers. I will be best answer-ing is certainly not going to simply ignore the issue once I had an answer. It's less about the watts and more about the speakers. How many speakers you have, how big they are (just give the make and model) and efficiency are the most important determinants. For the place that you describe I would recommend four PA speakers (two on each side). It is better to have two-way or 3-way woofers speakers with 12 or 15 inch. Then take a couple of amps and everything will be fine. I doubt you actually use over 1,000 watts. Depending on the type of exposure know is that some may want subwoofers.
