Sony Bravia Lcd
How can I make the sound of my Sony Bravia LCD for my new MacBook?
I connected my new MacBook to my 32 "Sony Bravia LCD (KDL-32S2010). I was successful in getting the image to work, but I am not getting the sound. I connected the two with a small screen with DVI, then DVI to HDMI. Any suggestions?
Good to see you are using a DVI to HDMI cable! That is the absolute best way to stream video from your MacBook to the Bravia. To get the audio from your MacBook to the Bravia, you need a mini-stereo to stereo RCA cable like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882123073 The stereo mini end plugs into headphone jack on your MacBook, and dual stereo RCA ends that connect to the red and white RCA jacks on your Bravia with HDMI port.
