How do I connect a pair of Infinity SM122?
A friend gave me his old speakers. Two speakers are Infinity SM122. At the rear there are two connectors, bare wire with a black and a red bracket. Are there cables can I buy that is stripped at the end and have a plug at the other end to connect directly to the TV? or Do I have to buy a receiver to connect the speakers and then plug the receiver into the TV? There are RCA audio plug ins on the back of my TV, left and right. The TV is a Sony Bravia LCD. I have never had to connect the speakers before, so I have no idea where to start.
Yes, you need to buy a receiver, a stereo receiver, unless you want to add more speakers (5.1).
