How do I connect my car subs and amps to a home theater system?

I have a home theater system, and with some speakers of Nice. I also have a very nice sound system in my car, and, specifically, I take my amp and 2 subs in my car and attach them to my home system. I looked Internet, but can not find specific instructions. All I really think I need is a way to convert the power cord from my amp (so generally attached to the battery of my car) to connect to the wall .. What kind of converter will I need? I think I can handle the rest (just plug RCA cables in the system, etc.) So all I ask is how to convert the power cord that is usually attached to the battery of my car, on a cable that can be plugged into a wall outlet? Thank you!
