Should we schedule the home theater system?

I just purchased a home theater system, 5.1, some DVDs work with the entire system (speakers) other not only in the other aspect, am I doing something wrong or, explore the DVD for the best Proformance?

Two things. You must have a button so that any DVD use all 5 speakers. But do it manually now. Now if you do not change anything, then put in a DVD that uses the 5, then the DVD is in 5.1. Some DVDs may have a stereo or 5.1 output. When viewing a DVD movie, go to the audio section, if any, and must be different audio modes there. as 5.1 or stereo. Now, there are some movies, like my old kung-fu movies and DVD-old, who can only have the game and how scence select. You do not have a choice of audio and will play in stereo mode. You have to manually adjust the speakers to use the speaker mode 5. So Vary in the DVD audio output. But if it has stereo output you have to play with the system so you can get 5 speaker output. Whereas a DVD of 5.1, says, so if you have the ability to play all speakers. Hope this helps.
