Is the tube in my TV flown?
Hello everyone! I have a 28inch widescreen TV (manufactured by LG), its 4 years old. The problem is, after about 10 minutes to be fine image, the screen goes very bright white and then black, the sound is fine but no picture. If I turn it off for 20 minutes the image becomes, but then the same thing happens again. Is this to do with the tube? If so is it worth getting fixed or should I go and buy one with a flat screen Nice LCD. Any advice would be great, thanks!
It has not blown up the tube! The first would try to reduce the G2 volts, this is done with control labeling screen is on the flyback with the focus control. Simple to do but have a person who has some experience to help you! Cheers Pete PS I can not help laugh at the response of those who gleefully announce "The pipe is broken" or something like that!
