Can you use wireless computer speakers in another room and connect to your home stereo system?
I would like my husband a wireless surround sound speakers in the same room as our TV / stereo for Christmas. And being able to play all our CDs that have downloaded to your computer.
Confuesd am a little to the wording of the question, but I think this will help. If you want to be able to play your music theator your home comptuer (stereo) and the system has a wireless network might want to try the SoundBridge 1001, allows you to listen to your receiver stero wirelessly or via CAT 5 cable and control unit SoundBridge. However, it can play music purchased from iTunes store. To be able to use music from the iTunes Store you need to get a bus (w / air tunes) from Apple. The AirPort Express is wireless or cat thought 5 as well and can also be used as a print server if you wish (I use it for both) If you get an airport and want to listen to your speakers as Rhapsody you can get a program called aerodynamic flow that I think any music source to your AirPort Express. The only drawback is that you must control the selection music from the computer, but will play anywhere in your house. It seems that from the aero program page shows that play Rhapsody or any other sources of music to the AirPort Express. The quality of music is excilent AirPort Express, and on the SoundBridge, its good. Also if you have a receiver or amplifier for each set of speakers that could connect to each airport and then choose which one to play through or just select some (or all multipul) for play at the same time.
